Strawberry Banana Pudding Dessert

Strawberry Banana Cream Delight

This cool, creamy dessert combines layers of smooth vanilla pudding, fluffy whipped topping, sweet strawberries, and fresh banana slices with the classic crunch of vanilla wafer cookies. Perfect for potlucks, parties, or just a comforting treat, this no-bake dish is as easy to prepare as it is delicious.

Ingredients:

1 package of vanilla instant pudding mix

2 cups of cold milk

1 (8-ounce) container of whipped topping

1 box of vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla Wafers)

2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced

1 cup of strawberry pie filling or chopped fresh strawberries

Directions:

Begin by preparing the pudding. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla instant pudding mix with two cups of cold milk. Using a whisk or electric mixer, beat the mixture for about two minutes, or until it thickens to a soft, creamy consistency. Once the pudding is set, gently fold in the whipped topping until the two are fully combined and smooth.

Next, it’s time to assemble the dessert. In a medium to large serving dish (a trifle bowl or 9×13-inch glass dish works well), start by laying down a single layer of vanilla wafer cookies along the bottom. Follow this with a layer of sliced bananas, spacing them evenly across the surface. Spoon a portion of the pudding and whipped topping mixture over the bananas, spreading it gently to cover. Then add a layer of strawberry pie filling or fresh strawberries.

Repeat these layers—vanilla wafers, bananas, pudding mixture, and strawberries—until you’ve used up your ingredients or reached the top of your dish. Finish by topping the dessert with a final layer of vanilla wafers for a decorative crunch.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid, and refrigerate it for at least two hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set. For best results, chill it overnight. Serve cold, and enjoy the delightful combination of creamy, fruity, and crunchy textures in every bite.
