Caramel Apple Bites Recipe


 Here's a delicious and easy recipe for Caramel Apple Bites!


Ingredients:


3 large apples (any variety you like)


1 bag of caramel candies or 1 cup caramel bits


2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream


Optional toppings: chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, or sprinkles


Toothpicks or small skewers



Instructions:


1. Prepare the Apples: Wash and dry the apples. Cut them into bite-sized pieces, discarding the seeds and core. Pat the apple pieces dry with a paper towel, as the caramel will stick better to dry apples.



2. Insert Toothpicks: Insert a toothpick or skewer into each apple piece for easy dipping.



3. Melt the Caramel: In a microwave-safe bowl, add the caramel candies and milk or cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the caramel is smooth and melted.



4. Dip the Apples: Dip each apple bite into the melted caramel, letting any excess drip off. If you’re adding toppings, immediately dip the caramel-coated apple into the desired topping.



5. Chill: Place the caramel-coated apple bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 15 minutes, or until the caramel sets.



6. Serve and Enjoy: Arrange on a plate and enjoy your Caramel Apple Bites!




Tips:


Make sure apples are dry so caramel sticks.


Serve within a few hours, as apples may release moisture over time.
